June Favourites

Hi Guys

Today I have decided that I am going to share with you 7 make up products which I have been loving in the month of June. These products are ones which have been reaching for most days when I have been wearing make up.

First I am going to talk about a mascara which if you read blogs you will have heard about it. Of course it is the Maybelline Lash Sensational. This product I feel makes a difference it really makes my lashes look longer and like they have volume and this lasts all day. This is something which does not happen with all mascaras I have tried but since purchasing this one I don't think I have reached for another mascara and it is something which I can change up easy depending on which is closest to me that day.

Since the weather turned boiling this month I decided that I needed to get back using my Urban Decay all night setting spray in order to keep my make up on all day. This product usually I only use this product when I am going on a night out and want my make up to stay, However in the heat I am sure it was one of the only things which I was using which could stop my make up from melting. I was glad I had it in my stash because I am sure everywhere has sold out of this at the moment.

Seen as the heat was not allowing me to sleep that well on a night I needed a concealer which was going to make me look alive and hid the bags which where forming under my eyes, The concealer which did an amazing job was the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer. I don't find that this concealer is as orange or glittery as the foundation can be, If you have not tried it ASOS currently have it on sale for £3.84 which is a steal for a concealer.

A blush which has a bit of a sheen to it is something which I craved for this month but it has to be a coral shade for some reason maybe because I have been wearing bright lips. As you can see from the top swatch this product is actually coral and can be blended very easily if you want a a sheer glow. When searching through my draw I found an old firm favourite the Sleek Rose Gold blush. This product is a dupe for the Nars Orgasm which when I have swatched I found a bit to glittery but this one is perfect for what I wanted this month. As you can see I have hit pan on it which was a sad day but there is plenty left for me to use all summer long.

Bright lip is something which I love in the summer months and more so when the weather is warm. One of the lipsticks which I have been gravitating towards is the Maybelline Color Drama in Fuchia Desire. I find these lip crayons so easy to wear and they last a long time even when you are eating and drinking. This shade is a bright fuchia as you can see in the middle swatch above I feel like could be warn any time of the year,  The only disappointment is the fact that there is only 6 shades hopefully this is something which changes over the coming months.

Eyeliner is something which I do not always wear in the summer months because I feel like black can be really harsh. When I have been doing my make up to go on nights out which I have had a few in the months of May and June. I have been using the Essence Crystal Eyeliner in 06 Rosy Rain. This eyeliner is only £2.30. As you can see from the swatch it provides some glitter and a bit of a sparkle to a smoky eye whether it be a neutral smoky eye or dark one this eyeliner looks amazing. I have not used it during the day however but I feel like you could if you was going to a festival or even a wedding.

The final product which I have been loving is the Avon 8 in 1 Neutral Tones palette. I will admit that really it is only 3 shades which I have been loving this month. Unfortunate this has been discontinued now so you guys will not be able to get your hands on it. However if you have it in a draw somewhere you might enjoy. The first shade I have been using it the really pale almost champagne kind of colour I have been using this to make my eyes look more awake and alive. The next shade I have been loving is the 3rd swatch which is almost a coral/brown shade but looks amazing on the eyes it is a very summer shade it has a lot of shimmer in it., The final shade I have been loving is the copper shade in the middle of these swatches. If you use all three like I have being doing you can get a lovely eye look.

What have you been loving this month?

I've been loving my new matte lipstick so much this month! One item I have been looking for however, is mascara. I have been struggling to find one that I like so I will be looking out for the Maybelline Lash Sensational, it sounds great.

I was wondering whether to get the Urban Decay setting spray and this post has definitely made me sway more towards getting it. That mascara sounds great too! Everything you've written about i now want in my makeup bag!

I've been wanting to try the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara since it came out!! I've been loving the Covergirl Super Sizer mascara and haven't been able to bring myself to part with it long enough to try another mascara, but seeing this glowing review of it might change my mind! Thanks for sharing your favorites!
