The Sunshine Blogger Award

I really love reading more about people behind the blogs I think I am going to try and share more about me in the next few months because I actually want this to feel like a personal blog and like you actually know me personally.  I was tagged by the lovely Beth who if you don't already read her blog you should she set me 10 questions in which I am going to answer in this post. 

1. What made you start blogging?

The reason why I started blogging on this blog was because I wanted to record memories of Jess while she is growing up because I have seen fellow bloggers do this and I feel like this is a really good idea because she can look back when she is older. I love been able to share my thoughts with you as well because I have learnt so much from other bloggers hopefully I will be able to help at least one of you in the future.

2. What’s your signature dish to cook for dinner?

I am not one of those who gets to cook a lot but I would say one of my signature dishes when I do get to would either be a pasta dish or a stirfry these are things which I am usually cooking if I actually cook. I don't have a set recipe usually I just end up freestyling and doing what I want so it comes out every time. 

3. What’s been your proudest parenting moment so far?

I am going to be one of those really annoying people who say that they can not select just one proud moment Jess makes me proud every single day she has adapted to commuting and going to nursery so well. I think I so proud when she does something like a big girl at the moment she is learning to use her reins so she can go for walks and she is so tidy she loves to put things in the bin as well as been so helpful, They are just a couple of reasons why I am so proud of my little girl. 

4. Who is your celebrity crush

I have to say Sam Burgess oh wait can I be greedy and say his twin brothers as well. If you do not know who they are they are rugby league players for South Sydney they are just so beautiful. I met Sam before he went to Australia and he was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. 

5. What is your biggest pet peeve?

Currently, I have a few people at the moment seem to be grinding my gears the main one for me at the moment is people who do not move out of the way of my pram. Usually, I am in a rush I either need to get to University or for a train and people will stand right in front of my wheels which means I can not move past them. As some of you may know some parts of York are narrow and it can mean me having to go on the road. Another thing which annoys me is people who sit in the disabled section when there is nothing wrong with them I store my pram usually with Jess in it and will move if someone needs it more than me however, this is not common a lot of people don't and this means Jess can not see me and I end up sitting in the luggage rack. 

6. What is the thing you would most like to achieve this year?

I would love to complete my second year of university with a decent grade hopefully a 2:1 but if it is a 2:2 and I have more work to do next year this is not something which really bothers me. I also would love to achieve my blogging goals because it is something which has become a huge passion to me again this year and I am already seeing the benefits of the work I am putting in 

7. Where is the best place you’ve been to on holiday?

I have been so lucky to go on some amazing holiday's so I could not choose one I think that I would say that somewhere like Egypt because it was so beautiful where we stayed as well as Cyprus can you tell that I love the heat. This year it doesn't look like I will be travelling abroad but this does not bother me too much because hopefully I will get to explore some amazing parts of the UK but currently have no plans booked

8. What’s your go to midnight blogging snack?

I can't make it to midnight without a snack for me it is more like ten maybe if we are lucky half ten. As Joe found out near the Christmas period I love toasties I think I had him making them nearly ever night when I was at his and blogging it is something I love. Twiglets are also something else which I love to eat while blogging maybe I should find something healthier in the future. 

9. Are you a messy play lover or hater, and why?

I do not get to do a lot of messy play due to the fact that we only have the weekends and there are a lot of people in the house when we could do it. I think when we have some time off during the summer months I will find out because Jess will not be at nursery as much and this is where she does a lot of her messy play and I have a feeling that she may end up missing it.

10. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

I think that I have had a multiple but they are all around the same element of not caring what people think and doing what you want to this is something which I live to every single day because I have come to realise that you can not please every single person so why try to do this.
