Lush Haul

Hi Guys

I know the picture on this is not the best but this is because of the fact that the items are very small. For another surprise I have never shopped in Lush yes I know every beauty blogger has but I must be one of the only ones who hasn't.

This is what I picked up when shopping in there the first thing whats a lip tint which is called It Started With A Kiss. Lush say about this product didn't every girl want to be a Snow White with those kissable red lips- well we all have the chance with this apple and cinnamon lip balm tint. I really can't smell the cinnamon in this product all I taste is the apple which is not something that I am loving if honest but hopefully it  will make my lips beautiful when I am not looking for a lipstick it doesn't look very red either and doesn't seem to be making my lips very soft. You can purchase this in stores or online here for £5.50.

As you can see I purchased the Red and Blue FUN. I have not used these products yet but love the idea that they are multipurpose because of the fact that you can use them as play dough you can use them as shower gel and even shampoo even though I don't think that I will be using them as shampoo I love Aussie too much.

The blue fun is described as a mix of lavender,Moroccan chamomiles and chamomile blue essential oils which will be perfect for bedtime baths so I have decided that one day when I have a bath late on in the day I will use this product because it may help me sleep better than I currently do. The red fun is described as mandarin and orange essential oils will make you think of sunny orange groves whatever they are and freshly squeezed orange juice which will brings summer to your bath well anything which brings a bit of summer into my life at the moment is so well received because of the fact that I live in England and don't see much sun in my life.You can purchase the FUN in store or online here for £5.

I have realised that recently that my lips have not been than soft so I purchased the Mint Julps Lip Scrub and wow this tastes amazing it has peppermint,vanilla and tagetes oil in it and I have been using this product for a couple of days now and can already see the difference so if you are looking for a lip scrubs which works you can get your hands on this one for £5.25 either in store or online here.

What's on my nails #6

Hi Guys

Apologises for the gap in posts but have just needed some time off from blogging to see if something else I am working on will grow.

This post has a twist instead of showing you what is on my nails I decided to do what's on my mums because I prefer the design which I did on her more than mine so hope you forgive me for showing hers.

I have used Essie Sensitivity Base Coat which I find is the best base coat I have used to date. Feelunique see this and it can be purchased for £8.55 here. I think I paid around £3 for mine at The Original Factory Store so it may be worth checking in there. I know I say the same ever time but you really do need to own this. I have found mine again as you may know I lost my version of this.

For the Green I used MUA Pistachio Ice Cream I know that this is a dupe for Essie  Candy Apple and I will be comparing the two soon. I applied two coats of this and found this to be enough coverage for what my mum what she wanted. I would recommend you guys to purchase this lovely polish as it is only £1 available here. I know currently superdrug don't have any of this shade available but keep checking back because it will come back in stock. 

To create the silver dots I used Revlon nail art French mix in Chance encounter and the silver one of the duo. I found the dots easy to apply just using the brush that it comes with. I was going to use the Barry M nail art pens but can't seem to get on with them. I picked these up on TK Maxx with another three for around £5.99. I have found them online for you guys over on Amazon again at £1.76 plus £1.99 p+p and they can be found here. I look forward to using these a lot more in the future and seeing what looks I can create with them 

Finally to seal my nail varnish I used Sally Hanson Hard As Nails which is the best top coat that I have used that is clear. I did pick this bottle that I am using up in The Original Factory Store for £3. You can purchase this from Boots here.

Amazon Wishlist #1

Hey Guys

I have decided that I would create a wishlist of things that I want off amazon the reason behind this is that I went on the site the other day and realised that I have a very large amount of products in my basket so this is something that maybe become a regular feature.

The first item is the Real Techniques core collection I have decided that I really want this because of the fact that I hardly own any nice brushes. I have only heard very good things about these brushes so I think it is about time that I test them for myself because I think I am the only blogger without them and these are only £16.78 at the moment.

The item next to this is the Seche Vite professional top coat  due to the fact that I am constantly painting my nails I want a top coat which is going to make them look amazing even more so when I decided that I am going to do nail art which can take time. I know that this again is a bloggers love even though some people say that it has harmful chemicals in which can cause fertility problems but for £5.50 I fancy trying it due to the fact it's half price.

I have also selected the Real Techniques starter collection because I think that this would give me a wider range of brushes and these new ones could be all that I need at the moment which would mean that I could remove some of the old brushes I have which are not very good quality. These are only £17.85 which means that you do save a bit compared to if you purchase in Boots and again I have heard amazing things about these so may be tempted to get these and maybe the eye collection but do I need 3 collections.

Finally for this post I have selected the Tangle Tezzer which I can't find a link to now because it has deleted it's self but I  keep having really knotty hair which is taking an age to get out so I am tempted to see if they are as good as people say and make my knots come out easier.

Bookworm #4 - I Heart New York

Today I am going to review the first book in the I heart series which I am currently reading. I heart New York didn't take me long to complete I think in total or was around a week. I am now up to I heart Vegas which is the fourth one.

My review 

Right from the start I loved this book. I am a big fan of reading books where the characters are from the UK. Angela was the cutest NYC-challenged girl. Her bubbly no-nonsense personality brought friends to her circle in droves. With the help of Jenny Angela was able to build herself back up in her new city.All of the characters were very real. I could see these people existing which kept me glued to the book. There were such emotional situations for Angela, that I felt her struggles right along with her. This meant you connect with Angela even more..Although it was an awkward situation for Angela to balance two men in her life, I liked the one she chose which I think was an added bonus in the book. I liked the added elements of shopping and eating in this book. Other books I have read in this genre do not focus on this part of a breakup.I did wonder at times where Angela's shopping money was coming from but that's me been nosey and jealous.

Have you read this book if so what did you think about it?

Arm Candy

Hi Guys

As few weeks ago I actually purchased this lovely bracelet which has liquorice allsorts around not real ones may I add. I purchased it I thought if was so different to all of the other jewellery which I have. 

I purchased the bracelet from Tessies.co.uk for around £8. Sometimes I find brackets which are very bulky like this very hard to wear because they are either to heavy and it becomes uncomfortable to wear of that I catch them on everything and then run this risk of breaking the item. With this bracelet though you dont get either of them it is do comfortable and lightweight and in the time I have had it I have not caught it and thought it was going to snap the elastic which holds it together. 

I have had a number of people come up to me and say that they loved the bracelet so when I recieved another exact same bracelet for my birthday I did give my best friend one as it not a piece that I think you could wear two of at the same time.

I would recommend Tessies.co.uk I love been able to shop actually instore but I would believe that there are the same amazing products online too

Music This Month #1

Hi Guys

Instead of showing my favourite beauty products at the moment because I am chopping or changing products so I have decided to share the music which I have been listening to this month. If you enjoy this I think that I may make this a regular feature so on to the music.

Passenger - Let Her Go I love this song I found it really easy to revise to and also I feel like I can connect with the lyrics because of the fact that someone will miss me when I go because of the fact that he doesn't bother with me when I am here why should I when I move and he will know how the lyrics feel.

Olly Murs- Dear Darlin' This song is another one which I have found really easy to revise to so this is why I have been listening to it. I miss someone who has left now to go home from uni and I will never see him again because when he comes back I will have gone and there is no way that we could have meet up so we had to let each other go.

Emeli Sande - Next To Me I love this song it has a deep meaning and is slowish which means

that I could revise to it which is something that I have been looking for in songs this month.

I remember sports personality of the year 2012 and the photos of those who passed away that year came up with this song. It reminds me of this even more as one of my favourite Speedway rider passed away 

These songs are not in the usually genre that I listen to but these are what I have found myself listening to. What are you listening to at the moment?

Dupe #2

Hi Guys

I am back with another dupe this time is it a shower gel which is aimed at men but I really do like the smell of this.

This shower gel is a dupe for Lynx Africa but this one is miles cheaper because of the fact that the Lynx last time I saw it was around £2 mark and this one when I purchased it was only £1.50 and this is a miles bigger bottle which means that you get more of the product which means more value for money which is something that we all want you don't use a lot more of the product like you do with other dupes and this smells the same or very  similar

The bottle is harder to store due to the fact that the bottle is so large some people may struggle to get this on there bath or in the shower. These are the only point that is the difference this doesn't seem to foam up as well either but this is something which I think you come to expect when you are only using a cheap product so this has not bothered me.

Unfortunate for you guys I can't find this product on avon's site so I am unsure if they are still stocking this but when or if I do find this I will update this post so that you guys can get your hands on it.

What's On My Nails #5

Hey Guys 

Due to it been exam season I have not been spending as much time painting my nails with glitter or even doing nail art but today when searching through pictures to use on my blog I noticed that I has not shared this look that I did apologizes that the nail vanish is slightly chipped as the photo was taken a few days after I have done this.

I am gutted because I have managed to lose mine.

For the white I used Sally Hanson Hard as Nails in White Tip I think it's shade 07 but I could be wrong. I have put two coats of this on so that it was completely opaque. This colour is usually used for french nails but I want to get some more use out of mine so this is why I used it.  I am unsure where I purchased my bottle of this polish but you can get it here for £1.95 plus p+p. This polish lasted around 5/6 days without chipping which is something which is always a benefit.

I used a dotting tool to do the spots I purchased mine off eBay a year or so ago but the seller now doesn't stock them but I have found the same ones on Amazon here. I have had no problems using mine it was the green one I used for my dots and it was the larger of the dots if this makes sense.

For the black dots that I have done I used a Basic Claire's Accessories nail polish I have had this polish for years so I am unsure if you can still purchase this in the stores now but you can get it online here. This polish lasted around 2/3 days which is not bad as I must have had it open around 3/4 years when I was an emo girl you could say. The formulae may have changed over this time so it may be better now than mine
