What We Did in January

I have decided that I am going to share with you hopefully every single month a reflection of the month and sharing with you what we have been up to. The reason behind doing this is because I love been able to look back and seeing what we were doing at a certain period of time. It also allows family who may not see Jess a lot to see what she has been up to as we can forget what we have been doing when we have not seen them for a long time.

Living Arrows #4 - First Week Back

As you may remember this was Jess's first week back at nursery for a whole month because she has not been used to the 5.45am get-ups and then she is always on the go at nursery because she does not like to nap as she feels like she will miss something. This site of her napping is something which I have seen a lot either it been on our train ride home or when she has been at home. This Saturday she actually went for a 6-hour nap in the afternoon this shows how tired she had been and how worn out she is hopefully this is something which will be changing once she gets back into her routine. As nice as it is to see her sleeping I do want some time to bond with her because otherwise, I am sure she will forget who we are.

Calorie Burning Green Tea Drinks

This year I have decided that I want to share with you some food and drink type of posts. The reason behind me wanting to include this element on my blog is we all eat and drink however, some of the brands which normally we might not pick up due to the fact we do not want to waste our money if we do not end up liking them. I think my food kind of posts are going to be on a Friday however, this does not mean that there is going to be one every single week.

Nail Care Routine

.

Since I announced that I was going to take part in project polish I have been contacted by a number of you asking how I am going to be able to keep my nails in a good condition which will allow me to continue painting my nails throughout the year. I have a nail routine which hopefully is actually helping make them stronger.

Living Arrow #3 - Final Week Of Freedom

I really can't believe that my Christmas holiday's have finally come to an end tomorrows sees me back at university since the 9th December which seems like forever I have only been back three times since then for exams and a course. Flamingo Candle- January Scent Melt Box

One of the most popular posts on my blog was when I shared my views on my uly Scent box from the amazing Flamingo candles. I meant to share with you my thoughts on the December one however, it arrived I got super busy with the festive period and never actually got them up. I aim to share my views on these most months because they are something I love being a candle addict. If you haven't heard of it before it's a subscription box which every month sends you 8 wax tarts and your first month you get a free tart burner. The subscription is £10 a month with free p&p.  The January box was all about Be Happy as January can be one of the most depressing and long months of the year.

Smalls For All

January seems to be the month where everyone starts to declutter this something which I have also done this is due to the fact that I have just come back from my boyfriends house with another ton of stuff and I hate to say it my house has not got any bigger so I have to be selective what I want. Instead of actually just throwing everything that I not longer want I have been trying to help charity because it cost hardly anything and we never know when we may need help from them.

Lush Valentine's 2017

Friday saw the launch of Lush's Valentines day range as you may know if you have read this blog for a while I adore Lush. I have nearly the whole range one which is pictured above because I forgot #badblogger the couple of items which I did not purchase is the soap due to the fact I have purchased a lot of soap from the Christmas range and I need to use some of it before I purchase more, the other item which I didn't get it the lip tint this again is because I am trying to use up lip products rather than actually add to my collect and it looked very sheer in store so I left it. I did not get any gift sets either because of the fact that there was no exclusives in them.

Living Arrows #2- A Week With Daddy

This week does with a massive shout out to Daddy who has taken these pictures for me because I have had exams which meant Daddy was in charge of looking after Jess for 4 whole days on his own I am so grateful and I know he will not mind me saying this he was scared that something would happen. He is an amazing Dad so I had all faith in him and I feel like Jess has had one of the most amazing weeks of her life. This means that most of the pictures have been taken by him because he knows how much I want to do this challenge he also posts pictures of Jess which you may not have seen on his Instagram which is Gijoe689.

Winter Skin Care Routine

Skincare is essential to me anytime of the year because I like most people hate having spots and horrible skin. I have eaten so much rubbish over the festive period I felt like I really need a skin care routine which actually works for me. I have had the same routine for around 3/4 months now I have made sure that all the items I use are easy to get hold of even thought my cleanser is now discontinued.

Reasons Why I Am Rocking Motherhood

Motherhood is something which people make look super easy but I can tell you from my own experience sometimes this is not the case. If you are like me sometimes you will feel super guilty for doing certain things like currently, I feel guilty because I have not spent a lot of time with Jess recently because I have been revising for my exams.  I also feel like I may miss some of the milestones which she is the achievement because of uni but I know in the long run it is for the best. I also feel like I do not celebrate enough of the amazing achievements which we have together.  I was tagged by Katie from livinglifeourway to post 10 reasons why I am rocking motherhood.

Project Polish 2017

I planned on actually doing project polish with these colours last year however this was something which never ended up happening. I think I had already given up after one month which really disappointed me because I need to get some use out these colours because I have an every growing collection everyone has to use up old ones in order to purchase more right? I am guilty of buying the same shade twice and also purchasing it using it once and not using the colour again for a really long time.  So it will come to you as not surprise that I have never actually finished a nail polish.

Living Arrows #1 - New Year

This is the year where I am going to take more pictures of Jess because I have realised that since she went to nursery I rarely take pictures of her which mean I have so many gaps in my albums when I look back on her life. This is for sure something which I really want to change because I can not stand it she is growing up so fast and I want to be able to remember it for as long as possible. We all know that time does not stand still and in the future when she is all grown up I want to be able to look back on them.

What I Got For Christmas

I know this post is super late and I do not have pictures of all of the gifts because as some of you may know I have had two Christmas's one with actually family and then one with my boyfriend which occurred a couple of days after. This means that I only actually have pictures of what I got from my secret Santa's and my family because I was such a lucky girl it has meant that I have not been able to take pictures of them all.

Use 17 in 2017

I realised this year that I have way to many products not just beauty which I am always using but make up.I never seem to get through a product due to the fact that I am always chopping and changing products. I blame being a blogger for this and always wanting to try new things.

This year I have decided that I want to try and use up 17 make up products some of these have had plenty of love which should mean that there no reason why these products should not be finished up. Some of the other items are ones which I really have not shown enough love to and have had too long so I need to either use them up or throw them away. I decided I would rather use them than actually throw them away.
