Nail Inc TKMaxx Haul

Hey Guys

I know that I said that was not going to purchase nail polish this year. I have decided that I am going to limit the amount that I can purchase instead due to the fact that I don't think that I can go the whole year without purchasing polish. In the month of January I have done well I have only purchased 5 polishes which all were from Nail Inc from the Gel Effect range and  managed to pick them in TK Maxx for £4.99 each instead of £14.

I have made so much progress on some of my nail polishes which are in my project polish which you can read all about here there will be an update next week on my progress,  Anyway on to the shades which I picked up in this haul.

The Love Hate Tag

Hi Guys

Today I thought I would share with you a tag which I read a lot recently on blogs and one which looked very fun to take part in which is the the love/hate tag. I did this one on my old blog but seen as I have some new readers now I have decided to do it again.

7. Not sleeping I am someone who needs to sleep otherwise I am not good to function at the moment I am not getting a lot of sleep so by around 8pm I am needing my bed.
8. Low battery I hate been on charge it makes me feel like I am stuck because I have to be so close to the plug damm apple and their short wires.
9. Having to say goodbye for 2 weeks after an amazing week being a family being a long distance family really does suck sometimes,
10. Not thinking that I am good enough which makes me doubt a lot of things not just on my blog but also in relationships.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara Review

Hi Guys

Today I have decided that I am going to share with you a mascara which I have mentioned previously on my blog. It is one which has been hyped so much in the blogging world and sometimes this makes me very skeptical of if a product really is any good.

However this mascara I would say is one of the best that I have ever tried, I can be very fickle with mascara and just use whichever is closest to me on that day. However this mascara has been the one which I have reached for every time I want to apply something to my horrid eyelashes.

Lush Ocean Salt Face and Body Scrub Review

Hi Guys

Today I am going to be sharing with you a product which I will admit I had forgotten I even owned until I started trying to use some of the products which I own up. However, I am really glad that I found it because it has become one of those products which I just love.

The Ocean Salt Scrub from Lush is that product which I found in a cupboard stored there due to the fact I have multiple body scrubs and can only really use one at a time. Lush's description of this scrub is the following:

" Limes steeped in vodka, grapefruit and lashings of salt go into this invigorating face and body scrub. Sea salt is rich in minerals and is excellent for scrubbing away any dead skin. We also add rich, silky avocado butter, coconut oil and seaweed absolute to keep your skin soft, smooth and conditioned. If you need a good scrub down, apply to dry skin and rub all over using circular motions or for a more gentle buff use on damp skin".

How I Clean My Make Up Brushes

Cleaning my brushes is something which I have got better at over the past few months I now clean them every Sunday as long as I am not busy because this is a day I tend to give my skin a break and not wear make up so it does not matter if my brushes are not available to me.

2016 Goals

Hi Guys

It's hard to believe that another year has passed one in which had so many great occasions for me. 2015 saw me move house 3 times, become a mum and meet some amazing friends and family well people I class as family now.

In 2016 I want to have even more amazing times some with family such as celebrating my 21st birthday as well as Jess's 1st as well as possibly having her christened in the summer time. I also want to go back to university to finish my degree which I have a year left doing alongside this I want to start saving more money so that I can start saving for our house which scares me because it seems such a grown up thing to do.

Tips I Wish I Knew When Starting a Blog

Hi Guys

Since relauching a blog I have released what I did wrong on my first blog and why I did not love my old blog as much. The benefits I have seen since this is an increase in views compared to my old blog which has seen some of you actually decide you want to follow me. This is something which I am
so thankful for.

So today I have decided that I am going to share with you some tips which I which I had known when I had started blogging so that I can give something back to this amazing community which we have.

Don't be scared to ask for help we have all been there and not been able to do things which we want. However don't forget that most bloggers can be contacted on social media and there links are usually on their blog. If you are scared of asking some of them why not try google they will be posts and tutorials about what you are trying to do without a doubt.

Use Google Analytics this allows you to see your real stats it allows you to see when people view your blog and how they have got on it. This can help you to see if your tweets are effective and what time of day your posts get read the most may make you change upload times. It also allows you to see the days people are most active. If you need help with this I can help even thought I have a basic understand of this. I don't know why I didn't use this for so long now I check my stats on my phone every single day.

Social Media the more that you connect to bloggers the more likely they are to read your blog make sure you have a twitter account and an Instagram even if your Instagram is your personal one don't worry about it at all.The more active you are on social media I find the more connections I have I now even have started scheduling tweets so that they do go out when I am not able to tweet.

Schedule make sure people know what days to expect new post so that they come looking for them. For me I know it is not realistic for me to post every single day because of my uni commitments but this does not stop me for posting 3/4 times a week. Even if I don't have time I make sure that when I have a bit of spare time I start a post and some times if my work load is a little bit lighter I will write in bulk and schedule this is something which you can find me doing on a Sunday usually.

Be original don't copy other people post you can use them for inspiration but don't copy them word for word because this is not a way to gain followers. If anything it is possibly something which would put people off reading your blog which is never something you want.

5 Money Saving Tips

Hi Guys

Since having my daughter I realised I can't spend as much money on beauty and make up products that I used to do. I would not think about going to spend a fair bit of money on make up or beauty and never using products up because of the fact that I could go and purchase a new whatever I wanted to review on my blog. However now I am going to have to keep a tighter eye on my finances which means using all the products which I have in my stash to have more money and also more space for things. I also know January is a month in which people hardly have any money left due to Christmas.
